So the gas people came by today. And the workers didn't uncover the pipe entirely so the gas people were like - not good enough.

The workers are coming back tomorrow morning to finish the work, and the gas people were like 'that's great, but we're really busy. Maybe we'll pop around in two weeks or so'

TWO WEEKS.

So we've been living there for two weeks already without heating, hot water, or oven/stove use. And now we have to wait at least another two weeks still because somebody is stupid enough to not know to uncover a fucking pipe?

I'm so refusing to pay rent for a month after we get gas, not half a month, ON TOP OF IT!

I'm so not in any mood. For students, for life, for anything.

PISSED.

Students ask so many questions.

For example: Do they sell can openers in Italy?

I should make a list.

The paternal figure offered to pay off all my debts if I finish my degree at Uni. I have 10,000 CAD to pay off.

The RBC is for sure searching the country high and low for me.

The government will most likely call search parties.

The benefit of having two passports.

The downside is that I eventually have to pay this shit off. And definitely can't do it now in my situation even though I am living comfortably - or wish to continue living comfortably.

I have been told my Italian is good enough to go to Università di Firenze.

Going to start looking for appointments... Courses...

Back to student life? New start with student life in Italy?

Thank god uni is cheaper here (still after all the bullshit of last semester) than in Canada, even.

But are still lacking gas, which is a pain because I haven't showered in quite a bit of time. I am off to the 'dicci for the night at Roby's so will get to showering there. Which is nice. I've warned everyone I work with to stay a few feet away from me.

I can't wait until my next trip to IKEA for solely decorative purposes.

How ads of the Dolce & Gabbana nature can be considered 'tasteful' and 'artsy' and yet can be of this nature is beyond me.

1) Apartment of my dreams is most likely not possible. Still in the works, but financially probably no.

2) Paychecks come monthly here. My job informed us because of the financial crisis they can't pay our November or December paychecks until sometime in 2009.
